การวิจัยระยะยาวมีความตึงเครียดที่ไม่เหมือนกัน:

• ความเป็นส่วนตัวกำหนดให้ผู้เข้าร่วมไม่ระบุตัวตน
• Scientific validity กำหนดให้ติดตาม participants เดิมเมื่อเวลาผ่านไป

IRB Requirements

Institutional Review Boards ตอนนี้กำหนดให้:

1. Protocol re-identification ที่บันทึกไว้
2. คณะกรรมการ oversight สำหรับการใช้งาน re-identification
3. Secure key management
4. Audit trail ของการเข้าถึง re-identification

Reversible Encryption Protocol

1. ทำให้ข้อมูลไม่ระบุตัวตนโดยใช้ encryption key ที่ควบคุม
2. เก็บ key ด้วย dual-control access
3. บันทึก re-identification requests ในทะเบียน IRB
4. Decrypt เฉพาะกับการอนุมัติ dual-control
5. Log ทุก re-identification event
