Teaching the AI to Find New Things
Last Updated: January 30, 2026
What Is This?#
Imagine you have a smart helper that can find things in documents - like phone numbers, email addresses, or names. But what if you need to find something special that it doesn't know about yet? That's where AI Entity Creation comes in!
With this feature, you can teach the AI to find new types of information. You show it a few examples, and it learns the pattern. It's like teaching a dog a new trick - you show it what you want, and it figures out how to do it!
How Does It Work?#
Here's the simple version:
- You give examples - Show the AI what you want it to find
- The AI learns - It looks at your examples and figures out the pattern
- You test it - Make sure it works correctly
- You save it - Now you can use it anytime!
Example: Let's say you want to find student ID numbers that look like "STU-12345". You show the AI a few examples like:
- STU-12345
- STU-98765
- STU-55512
The AI notices the pattern: "STU-" followed by 5 numbers. Now it can find all student IDs in any document!
The 4-Step Wizard#
When you click "Create Entity with AI", a friendly wizard guides you through 4 easy steps:
Step 1: Tell the AI What You're Looking For#
Fill in these fields:
| Field | What to Enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Name | What to call this thing | "Student ID" |
| Description | Explain what it is | "School student identification numbers" |
| Examples | Show 3-5 examples | STU-12345, STU-98765 |
| Languages | Where it might appear | English |
| Category | What type is it | Personal |
Tips for Good Examples:
- Give at least 3 different examples
- Show different formats if they exist
- Mix it up - don't use examples that are too similar
Good examples:
STU-12345
STU-98765
Student ID: STU-55512
Not-so-good examples:
STU-11111
STU-11112
STU-11113
(These are too similar!)
Step 2: The AI Creates a Pattern#
After you click "Generate", the AI thinks about your examples and creates a pattern. It gives you 3 choices:
| Option | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Balanced | Works well for most cases (recommended!) |
| Simple | Very careful - only finds things it's really sure about |
| Complex | Tries hard to find everything, even tricky ones |
You'll see a score from 0 to 100 showing how good each pattern is. Pick the one that works best for you!
Step 3: Test It Out#
This is where you make sure it actually works!
- Type in test examples and see if the AI finds them
- Green checkmark = It found it correctly
- Red X = Something's wrong
If it's not working right, click "Refine with AI" and the AI will try to make it better.
Step 4: Save and Use It#
When you're happy with how it works:
- Choose who can use it:
- Private = Only you
- Team = Your whole organization
- Public = Everyone (helps others!)
- Click "Complete & Save"
That's it! Your new pattern is ready to use.
About Tokens (The Cost)#
Using the AI costs tokens (like coins in a video game).
Using the Built-in AI#
| What You Do | How Many Tokens |
|---|---|
| Create a pattern | 50 tokens |
| Improve a pattern | 50 tokens |
| Test a pattern | 50 tokens |
Using Your Own AI Key#
If your family or school has their own AI account (like from OpenAI or Google), you can use that instead:
- Cost: 0 tokens from anonym.legal!
- How: Go to Settings > Services > AI Service and enter your key
When you use your own key, you pay the AI company directly, but nothing is taken from your anonym.legal wallet.
Tips for Success#
Do This:#
- Give 3 to 5 different examples
- Include examples that look a bit different from each other
- Write a clear description of what you're looking for
- Test with both examples that SHOULD match and ones that SHOULDN'T
Don't Do This:#
- Use only 1 or 2 examples (the AI needs more to learn)
- Use examples that all look the same
- Skip testing - always check that it works!
If Something Goes Wrong#
Problem: The AI can't find what I want
Try this:
- Add more examples
- Make your description clearer
- Click "Refine with AI" to let it try again
Problem: The AI finds too many wrong things
Try this:
- Pick the "Simple" pattern instead
- Add examples of things it should NOT find
- Be more specific in your description
Problem: It says "AI Service Unavailable"
Try this:
- Check that you have enough tokens
- Wait a minute and try again
- Ask an adult to check the settings
Languages#
This feature works with 48 different languages! The AI can learn patterns for things written in:
- English, Spanish, French, German, Italian
- Chinese, Japanese, Korean
- Arabic, Hindi, Turkish
- And many more!
Just select the languages when you create your pattern.
Quick Summary#
| Step | What to Do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Give examples of what you want to find |
| 2 | Let the AI create a pattern and pick one |
| 3 | Test it to make sure it works |
| 4 | Save it and start using it! |
Remember: The more examples you give, the better the AI learns. It's like teaching - the more practice, the better!
